About Eido Capital
Structured Finance, Built on Discretion
Eido Capital is a South African private lender focussed on short-term, asset-backed and bridging finance. We operate in a defined market segment, where transactions are time-sensitive, security-driven, and require structured execution rather than standardised lending.
Who We Are
Eido Capital was founded by an attorney and a structured finance professional, combining legal rigour with deep capital markets experience. Between our founders and senior team, we bring over a decade of active, hands-on experience in bridging finance and asset-backed capital solutions in South Africa.
We serve private individuals and registered business entities across South Africa. From property transactions requiring structured bridging capital to businesses unlocking liquidity from unencumbered commercial assets.
We prioritise transaction quality over volume. Our role is to assess, arrange, and deliver capital where there is a clearly identifiable asset or a defined repayment event. All short-term facilities are supported by verifiable documentation.
Our Approach
Eido Capital is built around a simple principle:
Capital should be structured against certainty, not assumption.
Every transaction we consider is evaluated on:
- The quality of the underlying asset or transaction
- The clarity of the repayment mechanism
- The practical ability to execute and conclude the deal
Why Clients Choose Eido Capital
Event-driven repayment
Repayment is structured around a defined trigger event - such as property transfer, RAF settlement, or an agreed term end. This provides you with full clarity from the outset, and in most cases, no conventional monthly instalments.
Transaction-led assessment
Eido Capital primarily evaluates each facility based on the quality and liquidity of your underlying asset or transaction. Not solely on your credit profile.
Selective underwriting
Each transaction is assessed individually on the strength of the security, the structure, and the certainty of exit.
Full transparency, upfront
All costs, terms, and repayment obligations are agreed before any commitment is made. There are no surprises and no hidden costs.
