Frequently Asked Questions
Is the application process online or in person?
Applications are submitted online. In-person meetings are available where required by the transaction. Vehicle-backed finance requires an in-person vehicle inspection at our Gauteng office.
Does Eido Capital serve individuals and businesses?
Yes. Most Eido Capital products are available to both private individuals and registered business entities. Property-Backed Capital is available only to juristic persons (registered businesses).
Can I apply with an impaired credit record?
Yes. For bridging finance products, assessment is based primarily on the underlying transaction and legal certainty – not the applicant’s credit profile. Asset-backed facilities are assessed on the quality and value of the pledged asset.
How long does the application take?
From complete application submission to capital release, most bridging finance applications are resolved within 24 to 48 hours. Property-Backed Capital takes 3 to 4 weeks due to the valuation and legal structuring requirements.
Is my personal information secure?
Yes. Eido Capital processes all personal information in full compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Your information is not shared with third parties outside of what is required to assess and structure your application.
